Health Coach Explained

When Dr. Standing tells you that you have access to a Health Coach in our practice, do questions like these go through your mind?

                 “What’s that?’

“I just want to talk to the doctor”

“Why would I need a coach?  What will I say?”

Dr. Standing’s intent is for you and your family to learn healthy habits around the 3 most important determiners of wellbeing: diet, exercise and sleep.  She loves to see families transform.  She will prescribe supplements and activities to start you on the road to change.  As a Registered Nurse and Certified Health Coach, it’s my job to walk beside you on your journey, be available for you to talk about your frustrations, and encourage you to become aware of your strengths and genius!  You know deep in your heart what you need.  It’s my job to help you become aware of it and remember who you are.
